Electronic Cigarette Company Issues Thank You to Customers

As electronic cigarettes are becoming more and more popular, one company has decided to thank its customers publicly and give some insight into what has made their company so successful.

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ — One of the most popular electronic cigarette suppliers in the United States has decided to issue a thank you to its customers this week, citing that their continued company growth is directly due to customer loyalty.

“We truly appreciate every customer that we get,” says Tiffany Ellis of E Cigarettes National. “One of the biggest struggles a company can wrestle with is unhappy customers and we’re happy to say that we don’t have many of them. Most are more than happy to provide the positive and negative feedback that a company needs to be able to grow into something better.”

In such trying economic times, companies are finding that second rate customer service and products will only get you so far. Quality control and customer service are becoming even hotter points of competition between companies of every industry in the nation.

the stench of burnt tobacco

Nikhil Rao, 23, a student at the University of Louisville, in Kentucky, took his first drag of a cigarette at age 18, while hanging out in a bar with buddies. Soon he was smoking half a pack a day. Then, like many smokers, he tried to kick the habit and—surprise!—found he couldn’t do it.

But that was then. Now he goes by the screen name of PureVapor and extols the virtues of electronic cigarettes, also known as personal vaporizers. He saw an Internet ad for these battery-operated, smokeless cigarettes, and decided to see if they could help him quit.

So far so good, he says. “I have smoked four cigarettes in the last month, and only when I forgot to charge my batteries. Cigarettes now taste pretty disgusting, and I hate the thought of having to smoke one,” he says.

“My favorite thing about [electronic cigarettes] is that they’re healthier and don’t harm the people around me with secondhand smoke,” he says. “My mom says I don’t emanate the stench of burnt tobacco, and I already feel less out of breath when doing heavy exercise.”

Healthier than cigarettes? Maybe, but some experts aren’t convinced they’re a safe or effective way to quit smoking. They say e-cigarette nicotine levels can range from nonexistent to toxic, and that some may contain dangerous additives. Others fear they are the 21st-century equivalent of candy cigarettes—attractive to children and teens as a sort of gateway drug for real cigarettes.

E-Cigarettes: Alien Technology or Healthy Supplement?

There are all sorts of products out on the market made to wean smokers off a dangerous habit—the patch, the lozenge, and the gum, for example. Yet, what about the e-cigarette? Though it’s marketed as a “safer” alternative to cigarettes, and not necessarily a smoking-cessation device, unlike the other nicotine delivery products, e-cigarettes—battery-operated devices that supposedly work by heating up a liquid nicotine substance which “e-smokers” inhale as vapor—aren’t regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In fact, according to the American Medical Association, on January 14, a federal judge ruled that e-cigarettes should not be subject to FDA regulation because they are merely an alternative to traditional cigarettes, which are readily available. Medical experts counter that, though they may be marketed as alternatives to traditional cigarettes, people are turning to them as a smoking cessation product, which means that greater oversight is critical. In the midst of this heated debate, however, a researcher from the Institute for Drug and Alcohol Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University decided to put two brands of e-cigarettes to the test, to see just how they stack up against actual cigarettes. His findings, published in the February issue of the journal Tobacco Control, suggest that the e-smokes fail to deliver much nicotine, or help reduce cravings.

electronic cigarettes work?

General Electric Co. the biggest U.S. conglomerate has joined drug maker Abbott Laboratories Inc., lawn care products maker Scott’s Miracle-Gro Co. and other companies that prohibit their employees from smoking on the job, both indoors and outdoors. Corporate policies, including those of the Cleveland Clinic, go so far as to implement hiring freezes on smokers and others, and penalize smokers by requiring smokers to pay a premium for their corporate insurance programs.

And while the genesis of these policies are most likely grounded out of concern for employees’ health and ever increasing medical costs to businesses; smoking on the job also reduces employee productivity and as companies squeeze more out of remaining employees to boost earnings, less smoking breaks makes for more productive employees.

Vapor Corp. (OTC: VPCO) a leading marketer of electronic cigarettes, sold under the Fifty-One™ and other brands, is pleased to offer a 51% discount off any of the company’s products sold on its website at http://www.smoke51.com to any smoker whose company has implemented a smoking ban, simply enter the Coupon Code “GE51″ at checkout.

Electronic cigarettes are electronic devices, whose three basic components that are designed to resemble an actual cigarette: the cartridge, the heating element (also known as the atomizer), and electronics plus a battery. The cartridge, a plastic container that holds a mixture of propylene glycol and liquid nicotine, serves as the mouthpiece of the electronic cigarette. The heating element vaporizes the liquid nicotine mixture, and the electronics power the heating element and monitor the air flow. When a user inhales from the cartridge, the electronics detect the flow of air and then activate the heating element, which vaporizes the nicotine mixture. The vapor, which the user inhales, contains a flavor that simulates the taste and feel of tobacco. Simply stated, the electronic cigarette is designed to look and to be used just like a traditional cigarette.
